ASRS 2025 Call for Sponsors and Exhibitors

The 42nd Annual Meeting of the American Society of Reclamation Sciences (formerly the American Society of Mining & Reclamation) will provide an amazing opportunity for your company or organization to interface with reclamation professionals and those who influence decisions about the purchase of products and services for the mining and reclamation industry. Vendor exhibits and sponsors are valuable parts of this conference, and we urge you to join us!

For the first time, the 2025 Annual Meeting will be held in Butte, Montana. Butte is one of the largest Superfund Area in the US and has a storied history of mining and reclamation. The host venue this year will be the Copper King Hotel (https://copperkinghotel.com/). We will have a large section assigned for the exhibitor hall that will provide vendors will plenty of exposure. The conference is being designed to focus on our exhibitors with many happy hour and refreshment times that will be hosted in the exhibitor hall. 2025 Schedule Snapshot

A quick snapshot of what the Annual Meeting will include:

Sunday, June 1st

  • Tour of Montana Resources Butte Operations, the Berkeley Pit, and finishing at the Headframe Distillery near the Kelley Mine.
    • The technical tour is being hosted by Montana Resources, of the Washington Corporations.
    • Headframe Distillery will host a tour of their facility.
  • Vendor/Exhibit Hall Move In.
  • Ice Breaker social will be held the evening.

Monday, June 2nd

  • Keynote and ASRS Speakers, TBD, will kick things off in the morning.
  • Annual ASRS Awards and Business Meeting Luncheon Banquet.
  • Afternoon Technical Sessions
  • Evening Social Event, featuring drinks and hors d’oeuvres, will be held at the Butte Depot.

Tuesday, June 3rd

  • Technical Sessions – All Day

Wednesday, June 4th

  • Technical Sessions – All Day
  • Student Awards Luncheon with speaker.
  • Student/Early Career Professional (ECP) Social Event will be held in the evening at the Montana Tech Student Success Center.

Thursday, June 5th

  • Several additional tours will be offered both reclamation and cultural. A couple of options are: Anaconda Smelter/Old Works Golf Course Redevelopment and Warm Springs Ponds/Birding Tour.
